Well for the first time in the years that I've played this game on multiple ports I finally got my pink tail in a little over 2 hours. 130 sirens killing my 650th flan princess and it drops. That is the quickest I've ever gotten it.

5 in 98 of getting a drop 1 in 64 it's a pink tail 1 in 1254 per kill that it drops a pink tail 5x flans per fight =1254/5 is ~256 sirens per pink tail. of course you can save your game, spend a few, and then reset if you don't get a drop.
